Everything Has Been Said But It Has Not Yet Been Said By Everyone

An experiment investigating the power of an audience speaking unfamiliar phrases out loud. TYSMFC performed a work-in-progress of this concept in January 2020 with a collection of phrases that challenged notions of identity and belief. 

Fugitive Dust was inspired by this experiment, and we expect to pursue developing other short works from this prompt.

An ongoing collection of short videos that recontexualize dialogue from the Pulitzer Prize Finalist play “True West” by playwright Sam Shepard. These videos toy with the way that meaning can be skewed, layered, or illegible depending on the way that meaning is contextualized. From the video game Animal Crossing to anthropomorphized birds, these short clips playfully poke fun at Sam Shepard’s Serious Theater Piece with Intense Emotion.
